"Historically, our business has hired- in cabins on an ad hoc basis. We use these for storage of materials during the various maintenance events on site that take place every year. It was all a bit 'hit-and-miss' with inconsistencies in cabin structure and most importantly, internal racking and fitting. We've also had safety issues with shelves bowing under the weight for example.
Prior to the last maintenance event in 2015, we explored the possibility of buying 'custom fitted' containers as opposed to renting. Parsons were able to take our 'dodgy sketches' and come up with a design that was first and foremost SAFE but also practical, user friendly and to a modest budget. These have been well received and have proven to be a shrewd solution to an age-old problem.
Since buying the first 6 units, other departments across the site have latched-on and have also purchased.....and no complaints recorded. All happy customers!
